Fico-Putin Meetings: Public Opinion Revealed – Survey Data

BRATISLAVA – The meetings of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico with Russian President Vladimir Putin are divided by the company.

This was shown by a survey by NMS for TV Markíza. 40 percent of respondents consider them right. Above -average are often among them people over 65 and people with apprenticeship.

41 percent of respondents consider these meetings incorrect. More often, people from 18 to 28 think so.

From the point of view of voter bases, only 8 percent of the opposition voters and up to 84 percent of them are correct. On the contrary, only 8 percent of the coalition voters consider the meetings incorrect.

For Direction-SD voters, the Republic and Voice-SD, the level of approval of these meetings is absolutely an absolute. In the direction, up to 89 percent of respondents think so, 85 percent by the Republic and 59 percent in voice.

Respondents answered the question: “Prime Minister Robert Fico met Russian President Vladimir Putin three times last year. How do you assess this decision?”
