The biggest surprise of Saturday evening came from Is-sur-Tille, where IS Lorsgey (R1) defeated Dijon FCO, still undefeated in the championship (1-0). The eight other National clubs have passed.
For the National clubs participating in the sixth round of the Coupe de France Crédit Agricole 2025-2026, the challenge is to obtain qualification to possibly meet a professional Ligue 2 BKT team. They will indeed enter the running in the next round, the draw for which will take place on Wednesday October 29 at the CNOSF headquarters. Saturday evening, seven out of eight passed, but Dijon FCO, although undefeated in National, was knocked out by IS Lorsgey Football (R1). Bourg-en-Bresse had to go to penalties to get rid of Rumilly Vallières (N2).

There will be 4 National clubs involved on Sunday, against teams from R1, R2 and R3.
Only one eliminated
The feat. It’s obviously a huge surprise, like the Coupe de France Crédit Agricole has in store for us at every turn. Dijon FCO, second in the National standings with five wins and five draws, experienced its first defeat of the season at the Courvelles stadium in Is-sur-Tille, in Côte-d’Or, 20 kilometers from its bases, where it met IS Lorsgey Football. It took several decisive saves from local goalkeeper Enzo Breviglieri, and a goal from Yasser Hammi with a powerful strike under the bar of Lenny Montfort (1-0, 58th) for the feat to take place. We will recall in passing that the invincibility of Dijon FCO was a unique case this season in the first four French divisions, from Ligue 1 to N2, i.e. 101 teams!

Two qualified in pain
The Hitchcocks. By receiving Rumilly Vallières, resident of N2, the Bourg-en-Bresse Péronnas players expected to suffer. But when they led 2-0 with two goals from Mohamed Boumaaoui from the penalty spot (15th) and before the hour mark (59th), they thought they had done the hard part. This was not the opinion of Rumilly, who returned in eight minutes (79th, 87th), which launched an unbridled end to the match with a new goal from Moussa Guel (3-2, 90th) and a second equalization for the visitors in added time (3-3). It was necessary to get to penalties to see Bourg-en-Bresse finally escape (4-3) and qualify for the seventh round. But it was hard!

Derby. It was almost a replica of the National clash between FC Rouen and SM Caen last week: the Caen club Maladrerie OS (R1) hosted Quevilly Rouen Métropole, in difficulty in the championship. The locals fought with panache, but they chased the score from the start of the match, after the early goal of Kembo Diliwidi (8th) on an aerial ball poorly controlled by local goalkeeper Mathieu Jouenne. La Maladrerie even hit the QRM crossbar in the 17th minute, before finishing with ten men in the last quarter of an hour. But the score remained at 1-0 for the National club, which is doing well.
Six others passed without problem
Clean-sheets. The largest score was for Puy Foot, 5-0 against FC Cournon (R2). SM Caen (4-0 against Alizay) and Berrichonne de Châteauroux (same score ahead of AS Contres) also ensured a calm qualification against clubs from four lower levels. Finally, there was a three-goal difference between FC Sochaux and US Pont-de-Roide Vermondans, between Stade Briochin and Keriolets Pluvigner and between Orléans and Vineuil Sports, all residents of R1 (3-0).
Congratulations to FAC Alizay for their journey and thank you for the welcome today. We wish you a good season 🤝#SMCa #TeamSMC #FACASMC pic.twitter.com/3Vi5N7HNqK
