The oldest (and not only) will tell you that it is not of much use. The year of its third consecutive victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with its 499P, Ferrari presents, alongside the Ferrari Finali Mondiali, the F76, the first car created exclusively for the digital world in the form of an NFT (non-fungible token, object authenticated via blockchain technology, which governs the world of cryptocurrencies in particular).
The token grants rights to a real or virtual object such as a work of art, but the token being non-fungible, the owner is unique. With this F76, Ferrari pays homage to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and more precisely to the 1949 edition, 76 years ago, won by the 166 MM of Luigi Chinetti and Lord Selsdon.
The F76 is not a production car, but a virtual project designed for customers of the exclusive Hyperclub program which brings together the 100 most exclusive customers of the brand. Ferrari explains that the F76 is one of the digital assets of the initiative by the Maranello brand to support the 499P, thus allowing customers to experience the adventure immersed in the official team.

We owe the design of the F76 to the Ferrari Styling Center headed by Flavio Manzoni. “Innovative solutions resulting from the fusion between biometrics, architectural principles, engineering and IT open new horizons in automotive design, going beyond simple styling exercises and leading to the development of several patented solutions”we explain in Maranello.
That’s not all as Ferrari is working in collaboration with Conio to launch the “Ferrari Token 499P » intended for members of the very select Hyperclub. They will be able to exchange with each other and bid on the 499P racing model. The initiative is planned for the start of the 2027 WEC season.
“It’s about strengthening the feeling of belonging among our most loyal customers”Enrico Galliera, director of marketing and sales, told Reuters.
Ferrari has been accepting payments in bitcoin, ethereum and USDC for a while, initially in the United States. According to Reuters, the number of crypto millionaires will increase by 40% in 2024 to reach 241,700.
