Deisy Ostos / Press Minsalud Cojedes. – On September 10, 2025, the Popular Office Type III (CPT III) Hugo Chávez, located in the Tinaquillo municipality, Cojedes State, was the scene of a day dedicated to family planning, aimed at promoting the welfare and sexual health of local youth.
Thanks to a series of previous evaluations, it was possible to benefit more than 20 young people through the insertion of subdermal implants, in addition to the delivery of contraceptive methods adjusted to the individual needs of each participant. This personalized attention allowed to guarantee more fair and effective access to prevention tools.
On the other hand, fundamental educational sessions were developed for the strengthening of knowledge in sexual health. In them, topics such as sexually transmitted infections (STIs) were addressed, emphasizing the importance of information as a tool to prevent and treat these conditions. Likewise, the correct use of the condom was promoted, providing young people with the basis for exercising safe, informed and responsible sexuality.
These types of initiatives are possible thanks to the firm commitment of President Nicolás Maduro and the Minister of Popular Power for Health, Magaly Gutiérrez Viña, who continue to promote public policies focused on the integral well -being of Venezuelan youth.
