Latvian basketball player Kitty Lacks on Saturday scored 11 points in the last game of the main Italian Serie A tournament and contributed to the victory of the Skio “Famila” team. “Famila” defeated “Sesto San Giovanni” at home with the result 79:54 (17:15, 24:10, 19:18, 19:11).
Laks spent 22 minutes and 47 seconds on the court, made four of five two-point shots and one of three long-range shots, won one rebound, gave one assist, committed two fouls, blocked one shot, fouled once, provoked two fouls, had a positive +/- indicator (+14) and accumulated nine efficiency coefficient points.
In another game Laura Melder scored six points, while Campobaso “Magnolia” prevailed over the “Battipaglia” team at home with 63:57 (9:13, 21:9, 8:13, 14:17, 11:5) in extra time.
Melder played 20 minutes and 30 seconds, made three of seven two-point shots, made one long-range shot, grabbed two rebounds, fouled out twice, provoked one foul, had the team’s worst +/- (-9) and three efficiency points.
“Famila” won all 20 games in the main tournament, thus occupying the first place, while “Magnolia”, which has one match left, is in the third position with a record of 15-4.
