Daniel Rodimer‘s Murder Case Proceeds After Appeal Rejection
Daniel Rodimer, a former WWE personality and one-time political hopeful, has suffered a legal setback in his ongoing murder case. The nevada Court of Appeals has turned down his request to dismiss the charge, meaning he will stand trial for the death of 47-year-old Christopher Tapp.
Rodimer is accused of murdering Tapp after an altercation at Resorts World Las Vegas. Reports indicate that Rodimer believed Tapp had offered cocaine to his stepdaughter, which led to a physical confrontation where Tapp was allegedly punched and choked. Authorities have stated that Rodimer was the aggressor and is directly responsible for Tapp’s death.
Rodimer has entered a plea of not guilty. His defense team had sought to have the case dismissed, arguing that certain pieces of evidence are inadmissible. With the denial of that motion, the murder charge remains in effect.
