Europe Aims for AI App Leadership Amid US Infrastructure Dominance
Dutch tech leaders urge focus on application layer too capitalize on US investments.

While the United States leads in AI infrastructure, Europe is setting its sights on dominating the AI application landscape.
This was the consensus among Dutch tech leaders at the Assembly, an exclusive policy forum held during TNW Conference in Amsterdam. The call to action: Europe should concentrate on developing applications that leverage the infrastructure already in place,largely controlled by Silicon valley.
Jeroen van Glabbeek, CEO and founder of CM.com, a customer engagement platform boasting a market capitalization of approximately €217 million and annual revenues of €274 million in 2024, spearheaded this vision.
