One of the alleged main financial operators of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) was arrested in Colima during a coordinated operation between state and federal authorities. It is about José Israel “N”, alias “El Salsas”, who was captured in the municipality of Cuauhtémoc along with a woman, in possession of various doses of drugs, including presumably fentanyl.

The State Coordination Table for the Construction of Peace and Security of Colima reported on the arrest and connection to the process of one of the main financial operators in the entity of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).
The capture was carried out by elements of the State Police of the Ministry of Public Security (SSP) of the Government of the State of Colima, in coordination with the Secretariat of the Mexican Navy. The detainee was identified as Arturo “N” or José Israel “N”, alias “El Salsas”, who was arrested along with Samanta Sarahí “N”.

According to the official report, the arrest took place in the community of Alcaraces, in the municipality of Cuauhtémoc, Colima.
“El Salsas” was arrested with alleged fentanyl
During the operation, those involved were assured of various plastic bags with narcotics, including presumably fentanyl pills, as well as doses of methamphetamines and cocaine.
The authorities indicated that José Israel “N”, alias “El Salsas”is considered one of the main financial and logistical operators of the CJNG in the state, in charge of collecting resources generated by cells of the organization, as well as their transfer and delivery to leadership, in addition to logistical support between Jalisco and Colima.
After being placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry, a Court linked him to proceedings for crimes against health, in the form of possession of methamphetamines and fentanyl, an illegal offense provided for and punished by article 195 bis of the Federal Penal Code. At the hearing, the deadline for the development of the complementary investigation was also set.
