Easing the Return: Toll Discounts on Trans-Java Highway

In an effort to alleviate traffic congestion and reduce travel costs following the Lebaran holiday, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Toll has implemented a 20% toll discount for vehicles traveling on the Trans-Java toll road. This initiative aims to smooth the backflow of travelers returning from their hometowns.

Discount Details and Validity

The toll reduction is effective from today,April 9,2025,and will remain in place untill 5:00 AM on Thursday,April 10,2025. The discount applies to all vehicle classes (SEMA types) originating from Semarang and entering through the Kalikangkung toll gate (GT),a major entry point to the trans-Java network.

The tariff discount applies to SEMA types of vehicles that cross the trans Java toll road.

Strategic Toll gate Preparations

To manage the anticipated surge in traffic,Jasamarga has designated GT Cikampek Utama as a primary exit point. This toll gate is equipped with 15 operational substations to efficiently process vehicles heading towards Jabotabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, and Bekasi) from the eastern regions of Java. Moreover, nine mobile readers have been deployed to expedite transactions and minimize delays.

Revised Toll Rates with Discount

Here’s a breakdown of the toll rates after the 20% discount, specifically for journeys from GT Kalikangkung to GT Cikampek Utama:

• Vehicles Group I: Reduced from IDR 440,000 to IDR 352,000 (savings of IDR 88,000)
• Vehicles Group II & III: Reduced from IDR 679,500 to IDR 543,600 (Savings of IDR 135,900)
• Vehicles Group IV & V: Reduced from IDR 894,500 to IDR 715,600 (Savings of IDR 178,900)

These discounts offer meaningful savings for travelers, particularly those with larger vehicles.
