The European Investment Bank (EIB) has provided a loan to support important transport projects in the Czech Republic. As the bank announced in a press release on Thursday, a loan of 5.1 billion crowns (209.76 million euros) was granted for the construction of the Prague ring road and 5 billion crowns (205.65 million euros) for railway projects.
The loan is part of the already approved financing agreed between the Czech Republic and the EIB. In total, the Czech Republic is expected to receive 65 billion crowns (2.67 billion euros) from the bank for the expansion of transport infrastructure.
