Egypt Visa for Moroccans: New Rules & Facilities

by Archynetys World Desk

The Egyptian embassy in Rabat recently unveiled new measures to facilitate access for Moroccans to Egyptian territory.

In an announcement published on its Facebook page, the embassy specifies that this initiative concerns Moroccans holding valid residence permits or having already traveled with visas in the Schengen area, as well as in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, United States, Japan and United Kingdom. These travelers will now be able to obtain a visa upon arrival at the various Egyptian ports and airports.

This measure also applies to Moroccans residing in Gulf Cooperation Council countries, provided that they have valid residence and return permits. They will thus be able to enter Egypt directly from entry points, without requiring a prior visa.
