Likewise, he indicated that “the tourists alleged ignore the regulations and Egyptian laws, stating that such behavior is permissible and not illegal in their countries of origin.
However, security officials did not reveal the nationality of the three tourists and only confirmed that they had notified their respective embassies the incident.
“The three tourists were detained, a report was drawn up and legal procedures were initiated,” added the source, ensuring that those arrested are now at the disposal of the competent authorities.
