I am 43 today. This is the age when you no longer have to prove anything to anyone. Only for yourself – to set new goals so that life remains interesting. I no longer audit the year, I no longer dream of making all the money in the world or pleasing everyone. I’ve been in that frame before – and I’m happy to break out of it.
I no longer need the seventh suit in my closet or another pair of fashionable shoes. Living “out of pocket” is not as sweet as it looks on social networks. I’m glad that I’m not living a fake life, but my real life.
Do I still have dreams? Yes, and some more. I take them one by one and fill them. Do your hands droop? Of course. But then I remind myself: I am healthy, capable, a person who has no right to grumble – so I straighten up and move on.
I don’t need anything special today. Only health, happy loved ones, love, the opportunity to do the work you love, peace, time for yourself and only real people next to you. (And I have almost everything!) And the rest – if I want – I will certainly create it myself”, – E. Žičkus shared inspiring thoughts on the occasion of his birthday.
A little later, the famous man who is receiving a sea of congratulations today opened up about his birthday plans. It turns out that he will have to wait a little longer for the holidays.
“It just so happened that I will spend my birthday alone, and the celebration with my friends and people very dear to me awaits this Saturday,” said E. Žičkus.
True, he added, spending some time with yourself is definitely not a bad idea.
“Well, now I’ve worked a little and I’m traveling for lunch. With, perhaps, the nicest company. Sometimes not so nice. With myself,” smiled E. Žičkus.
