EDMGadget AI Data Center Optimization – CES 2026

The Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (SBA, CEO Kim Hyeon-woo), a small and medium-sized business support organization that strives to revitalize Seoul’s startup ecosystem and discover excellent startups, will operate the Seoul Integration Center at the CES site in January 2026. The CES 2026 Seoul Unified Hall will support a total of 70 startups with the participation of 19 startup support organizations in Seoul, including autonomous districts, related organizations, and universities, led by the SBA. The Seoul Integration Center supports participating companies with various business programs such as on-site investment consultation, buyer matching, global IR pitching, and exhibition booth operation, laying the foundation for global expansion.

‘EDM Gadget’, a startup that developed ‘DC-XAI’, a data center AI optimization solution, will participate in ‘CES 2026’, the world’s largest IT and electronics exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA.

‘DC-XAI’ operates based on technology that combines reinforcement learning (RL) and explainable AI (XAI) technology to comprehensively optimize power, cooling, and carbon. It received attention for being the first to attempt a method of presenting the operational decision-making process in an interpretable way. EDM Gadget plans to target the global data center operation solution market after meeting the needs of large and small data center and cloud infrastructure operating companies with DC-XAI. To achieve this goal, EDMGadget is promoting PoC and expansion of cooperation with global data center operators and infrastructure companies at CES 2026. We expect that technological competitiveness and global business feasibility will be verified simultaneously during the PoC process with multiple companies.

EDM Gadget also plans to advance empirically focused AI solutions that take into account climate crisis response and ESG and carbon regulatory environments. In a situation where mandatory ESG disclosure and carbon regulations are being strengthened at home and abroad, AI solutions are considered a technology that can reduce power costs and meet regulatory response at the same time. EDM Gadget has set a goal to contribute to building sustainable digital infrastructure with AI-based data center power and carbon reduction technology.
