Edelweiss Beuren Hosts Thrilling Shooting Event

Over three action-packed evenings, from April 3rd to 5th, the Schützenverein Edelweiß Beuren opened its doors to the community, inviting residents of Beuren and neighboring towns to test their marksmanship. The event, a popular local tradition, saw participants of all skill levels engaging in kind competition using the club’s air rifles.

Divisions and Daily Prizes

The competition featured separate categories for experienced guest shooters and novices, ensuring a level playing field. Each evening, daily winners in the women’s, men’s, and youth divisions were awarded a hearty “vesper plate,” a customary German evening meal. Adding to the festive atmosphere, Thursday was designated “Ladies Night,” with female participants receiving a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. On Friday, male shooters enjoyed a free schnapps as “target water,” a playful nod to tradition.
