The Council of the European Central Bank will keep its deposit rate unchanged at two percent. The ECB announced the decisions of its interest rate meeting in the afternoon. The interest rate has been at the current level since June.

The central bank expects economic growth to be stronger than in September’s forecasts, especially driven by domestic demand. Inflation remains around two percent. According to the Central Bank’s updated estimate, inflation will stabilize at the 2 percent target in the medium term.
