The fifth annual “Easter in the Forest” event recently concluded in the enchanting Geselino Forest, leaving a trail of joy and community spirit in its wake. This year’s edition proved to be a important draw, attracting both local residents and tourists alike to a three-day extravaganza of free, family-friendly entertainment, artisanal crafts, and delectable gastronomic offerings. The event transformed the forest into a vibrant hub of activity, showcasing the region’s commitment to cultural enrichment and tourism.

According to the Ministry of Tourism, “Easter in the Forest” achieved remarkable success, with over ten thousand attendees reveling in the festivities.This surge in visitors not only highlights the event’s popularity but also underscores its positive impact on the local economy. Events like thes are crucial for regional tourism, especially during shoulder seasons. For example, similar events in other regions have shown to increase local business revenue by up to 20% during the event period, according to a 2024 study by the Regional Tourism Board.

The event’s charm extended beyond its entertainment lineup,with meticulous decorations transforming the forest into a whimsical wonderland. Playful rabbits, vibrant colored eggs meticulously painted by local institutions, and interactive character displays created a captivating atmosphere for photo opportunities and memorable experiences. Children were notably enthralled by the diverse range of activities, including art and painting stations, reading nooks, and engaging games provided by the provincial recreation stand. This year’s “Easter in the Forest” provided a valuable platform for local entrepreneurs, with over 200 vendors participating in the event. Artisans showcased their unique crafts, adding to the event’s vibrant marketplace atmosphere. Adding an element of interactive fun, the event featured daily prize giveaways, with over 100 awards distributed throughout the three days.
