The residents of Albert Square are grappling with the aftermath of a devastating car accident. The crash involved Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) and Zack Hudson (James Farrar), plunging their vehicle into a lake.Only Teddy managed to escape the submerged car.

Harry (Elijah Holloway),Teddy’s son,was consumed by guilt,while Teddy was desperate to find the missing Zack. Harry prevented his father from diving back into the water,convinced that Zack had perished.

Billy (Perry Fenwick), Honey (Emma Barton), and Nigel Bates (Paul Bradley) arrived at the scene. Honey promptly contacted emergency services, while Nigel, suffering from worsening dementia symptoms, wandered off and became lost.

Teddy located Nigel in a nearby wooded area. When Honey arrived, nigel mistook her for his mother, highlighting the progression of his dementia.

Honey’s Change of Heart and a bombshell Revelation

After Nigel eventually recognized Honey, she surprisingly suggested covering for Teddy and Harry by falsely reporting the car as stolen.

“Zack, not Teddy, was his father – adding that Barney’s own family had just had Zack killed!”

With the group resigned to the likelihood of Zack’s death, the grim news spread throughout Albert Square. Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) was tasked with informing Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) of the tragic events.
