Eagles Injury Report: A.J. Brown Expected to Play, Huff and Covey Sit
The Philadelphia Eagles received some welcome news ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Washington Commanders. Wide receiver A.J. Brown, who was listed on the injury report with a knee injury, confirmed he will be playing.
Brown’s Status Confirmed
Earlier on Friday, Brown confidently stated, “I’m playing,” when asked about his knee injury. This confirmation was echoed by the official injury report, which lists Brown as having no game status, indicating he’s expected to suit up. Despite being limited in practice both Thursday and Friday, Brown’s contributions will be crucial for the Eagles’ offense.
Other Notable Injuries
While Brown’s return is a positive, the Eagles will be without a few key players. Defensive end Bryce Huff has been ruled out with his wrist injury, despite being limited in practice all week.
Receiver Britain Covey (neck) is also out, despite being a full participant in practice this week.
Safety Sydney Brown (concussion) is listed as questionable. He missed Wednesday’s practice, was limited on Thursday, and was a full participant on Friday.
Good News for Hurts and the Offense
The Eagles received positive news regarding quarterback Jalen Hurts (left finger), receiver DeVonta Smith, and guard Landon Dickerson (knee/rest). All three players are off the injury report and are expected to play.
Looking Ahead
The Eagles will look to continue their winning streak against the Commanders. With Brown back in the lineup, the offense will be firing on all cylinders.
Don’t miss out on the action! Tune in to Sunday’s game to see the Eagles take on the Commanders.
