These 6.5 million euros each won by two lucky winners “constitute the biggest jackpots of the year 2026”, specifies the operator FDJ United.
Friday the 13th brought luck to two lucky people. Put into play on Friday, the Super Loto of 13 million euros was won by two winners, who therefore shared 6.5 million euros each, announced FDJ United (formerly FDJ). They checked the five correct numbers (16, 17, 40, 48 and 49), as well as the correct lucky number (5) to hit the jackpot.
These 6.5 million euros “are the biggest jackpots of the year 2026”specifies FDJ United. They surpass the gains of 6 million euros won in Loire-Atlantique on January 14 and in Charente-Maritime on February 9, and that of 5 million euros won in Haute-Marne on January 28.

More than 11 million validated grids
The national lottery operator specified that in addition to these two winners, the draw on Friday March 13 also allowed five players – who found the five correct numbers but not the lucky number – to win 169,170 euros each. “50 winning Super LOTO codes were drawn, allowing their holders to pocket 20,000 euros each”adds FDJ United.
According to the specialized site Tirage-gagnant.com, this super Loto confirmed the French enthusiasm for these special draws on Friday 13. It indicates that approximately 11.1 million grids were validated, a figure however slightly down compared to the 12.5 million grids of Friday February 13. If FDJ United does not communicate precise figures, it estimates that Friday the 13th “can record, on average, two to three times more shots than a classic draw”.
