by Archynetys Economy Desk

BEIJING, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) — China’s Ministry of Commerce said Saturday that the Dutch government’s inappropriate interference in the internal affairs of companies has led to the current chaos in global industrial and supply chains.

A ministry spokesperson made the statement when asked to comment on recent cases related to semiconductor maker Nexperia, a foreign subsidiary of Chinese company Wingtech.

As a responsible major power, China attaches great importance to the security and stability of domestic and global industrial and supply chains, the spokesperson said.

China welcomes companies facing practical difficulties to promptly contact the ministry or local trade authorities, the spokesperson added, adding that the ministry will take into account the actual situation and grant export exemptions to eligible companies. END
