Line 708: Suspension and Platform relocation
Similar to Line 704, Line 708 will be suspended from Friday, May 2nd, 8:00 AM to Monday, May 5th, 4:00 AM. Alternative routes include lines 701, 706, 709, 733, or 834. Furthermore, from Monday, May 5th, 4:00 AM to Wednesday, May 7th, 4:00 AM, the “hauptbahnhof” stop will be temporarily relocated from Steig 5 to Steig 6, towards Heinrichstrasse. Line 709: Partial Suspension and bus Replacement Service
line 709, heading from Neuss, will terminate early at the “Graf-Adolf-Platz” stop from Friday, May 2nd, 8:00 AM to Monday, May 5th, 4:00 AM. Trams will then turn around at “Poststrasse” and return to Neuss. A replacement bus service will operate on the affected section between “Graf-Adolf-Platz” (or “Poststrasse”) and “Gerresheim, Hospital.” These buses will generally stop at existing tram stops or designated replacement stops located on the right side of the road.
Additionally, from Monday, May 5th, 4:00 AM to Wednesday, May 7th, 4:00 AM, the “Hauptbahnhof” stop in the direction of Gerresheim will be moved from Steig 5 to Steig 6.
