On October 18th, 2025 at around 9:45 p.m., police officers from the police headquarters discovered a cyclist on Jarmener Straße in Demmin.
Demmin (ots) – Due to his very conspicuous driving style, they decided to subject him to a check and stopped him. They detected a significant smell of alcohol on his breath. A breath alcohol test carried out on site showed a level of 3.53 per mille. The cyclist was banned from continuing his journey and was taken to a hospital, where a doctor took a blood sample for evidence. A complaint was filed against the 43-year-old German cyclist for drunk driving.
