Kristoffer Ventura opened the PGA tournament in Detroit with phenomenal Golf on Thursday. Round seven strokes under pairs he sent straight into the tight battle.
Ventura was among the players who started the opening round early Thursday. The 30-year-old quickly received good grants for the score card.
Both holes three and four ended with a birdie. Then there were two holes in pairs, before Ventura dotted a strong eagle on the seventh.
The first nine ended with a hole in pairs and a birdie.
The second half of the round contained three birdies and one Bogey.
– It went very well today. It was a bit bitter to finish the last three holes one above. At the same time, you can hit well and still bomb, so just stay patient. We have just started the tournament, Ventura said in an interview with Eurosport after the day was over.
Ventura was then number four on the charts. At the same time, a number of players had to end the opening round.
