On the last day of the year,
I find myself counting people, not achievements (I don’t have any).
This year didn’t end with a checklist of wins and losses.
It ended with conversations.
Some happened on #LinkedIn.
Some of the phone calls lasted longer than planned.
Some in physical spaces where time slowed down.
And some in quiet DMs, #WhatsApp or LinkedIn, where words arrived when voices couldn’t.
One LinkedIn connection turned out to be my neighbour; we discovered that only after speaking on the phone.
One was my senior from college, and our long conversation felt like reopening a chapter I didn’t know I missed.
One young professional, whose writing and humour take me straight back to my own college days, reminded me why authenticity never ages.
There were experienced professionals from my industry, generous with time, perspective, and honesty.
Entrepreneurs were navigating similar uncertainties.
And women who, like me, paused their careers for parenting and returned wiser, quieter, stronger.
In between all of this, I became part of the Anti-Fragile Circle, initiated by Shashank Sharma, a space filled with thoughtful, grounded people. That experience deserves a post of its own.
As an entrepreneur, this year taught me something simple yet profound: progress doesn’t always look like scale. Sometimes, it looks like belonging.
As I say goodbye to 2025, I do so with gratitude for conversations that shaped me, people who showed up, and a journey that continues to unfold in unexpected ways.

P.S.:
I’ve intentionally chosen not to mention a few names here. They know who they are, the ones who guided me, anchored me, and quietly motivated me when I needed it the most. Some support is too personal, too foundational, to be named publicly.
Here’s to people.
Here’s to purpose finding its way through connection.
And here’s to stepping into the new year, not louder, but wiser.
हम तो अकेले ही चले थे जानिब-ए-मंज़िल को,
लोग साथ आते गए और कारवाँ बनता गया।
