Police arrested two people on charges that stem from an alleged kidnapping in Dover on March 19, officials said.

Siquaya F. Smith, 37, and Louis G. Cadet, 40, both of Northfield, are charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault and robbery among other offenses, according to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.

The prosecutor said that local authorities received a emergency SOS notification coming from an Apple Watch of a Dover resident on March 19.

Police said officers conducted a welfare check at the victim’s residence and the person was not home, but the victim’s vehicle was present. The Apple iWatch, which was damaged, of the victim was located a mile away from the home, police said.
