Donate Blood This December | Save a Life

by Archynetys Economy Desk

In the most charitable season of the year, the Salvadoran Red Cross makes an urgent call to the population: donating blood is an act of generosity that can make the difference between life and death. With extended hours and a clear message of hope, they invite all Salvadorans to join this vital cause.

December, a key month to save lives
During the holidays, the need for blood increases for a variety of reasons: medical emergencies, traffic accidents, and scheduled surgeries. However, it is also a time when donations tend to decrease. To counteract this, the Salvadoran Red Cross has launched a special campaign under the slogan “Every donation is a light of hope”.

In addition to being an altruistic gesture, donating blood is quick, safe and can benefit up to three people for each unit collected. This action takes less than an hour and has no cost.
