Dominion Energy’s Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind Project Milestone: 78 Monopiles Installed
Dominion Energy has achieved a significant milestone in the construction of its Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind (CVOW) project. The company has successfully installed 78 monopile foundations and four offshore substation foundations during the first installation season, surpassing its initial target of 70 monopiles. The project is situated 27 miles off the coast of Virginia Beach and is set to become the largest offshore wind farm in the US upon completion.
