Tragic Night in Dnipro: Drone Strike Claims Lives, Injures Many
A drone attack struck Dnipro on the evening of April 16th, resulting in fatalities and numerous injuries, including children.The assault has sparked widespread concern and condemnation.

Details of the Attack and Immediate Aftermath
The attack,reportedly carried out by Russian forces,caused multiple fires and notable damage to residential areas and infrastructure. Initial reports indicated injuries to two children,but the situation quickly escalated as more facts became available.
Sergey Lysak, Chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Management, stated that the UAV attack
caused fires and damaged residential buildings. The full extent of the damage is still being assessed.
Mayor of Dnipro, Boris Filatov, confirmed that one of the strikes occurred near the city council building, highlighting the brazen nature of the attack.
Rising Casualty Count: Deaths and Injuries Among Civilians
Tragically, the attack resulted in the deaths of two civilians, including a young girl and an elderly woman. sixteen others sustained injuries, with three children among the wounded. the injured children include a 9-month-old girl and two boys, aged 6 and 11.While the children are reported to be in satisfactory condition, three young men, aged 16, 18, and 20, were hospitalized with moderate injuries.
As of late evening on April 16th, five individuals remained hospitalized, receiving necessary medical care.
Widespread Damage to Infrastructure and Property
Beyond the human cost, the drone attack inflicted substantial damage on Dnipro’s infrastructure.Residential buildings, educational institutions, and cultural sites were all affected. numerous vehicles were also damaged or destroyed, compounding the devastation.
Houses,educational institutions and cultures,mutilated cars were damaged in the city.
