The collaboration started successfully in 2025: n plus sport GmbH donated 25,000 euros to the DKMS, in particular supporting the financing of new admissions of potential stem cell donors. The commitment will be further expanded from 2026.
“The n plus sport company runs show how much can be achieved when people become active together. Every step along the route is a sign of solidarity with blood cancer patients. And everyone can take another step – by registering with the DKMS,” says Stephan Schumacher, Managing Director of DKMS Germany. “We would like to thank n plus sport GmbH and all participating companies and runners for this strong commitment.”
Take action together – regionally and beyond
The company runs stand for exercise and shared commitment – that fits with DKMS.
Every twelve minutes in Germany, a person is diagnosed with blood cancer; for many, a stem cell transplant is their only chance of survival. At the same time, many donors leave the file every year due to age. We are therefore urgently looking for new, especially young, registrants.
In the context of the company runs, the DKMS provides information about its work and the easy way to register: With a short cheek swab, healthy people between the ages of 17 and 55 can be accepted as potential stem cell donors.
Anyone interested can register with DKMS for the company runs at www.dkms.de/nplussport – or simply scan the QR code:
“We are very pleased that DKMS is our charity partner this season. We would like to do our part to ensure that people suffering from blood cancer have hope of finding their suitable match.
Making a difference together and potentially saving lives is what further motivates our runners,” so Ralf NiedermeierManaging Director of n plus sport GmbH.
When companies, employees and entire regions come together, more than a sporting event is created – hope is created. Every registration counts.
