Digital Extremes Unveils Future Plans for Warframe and Soulframe in Devstream

In a recent Devstream, developers from Digital Extremes provided a glimpse into what 2025 has in store for players of Soulframe’s Preludes (Pre-Alpha Test). The stream revealed an expanded world map featuring a new storyline Fable and Ancestor with a rich backstory, enticing fans with the promise of a deeper narrative experience.

“Community is at the heart of everything we do, and this year, we intend to be more consistent and frequent with the updates we offer to Soulframe Preludes players in our Pre-Alpha journey while continuing to deliver the unforgettable community experiences our Warframe players expect and love,” explained Megan Everett, Director of Community at Digital Extremes.

Warframe: New Updates and Content

Expanding on the events from Warframe: 1999, Techrot Encore brings exciting new additions, including:

• Infested Techrot Boss Fights: Conclude your battle with the Technocyte Coda, a group known as the On-lyne, and earn one of 13 new Infested weapons. The music-driven battles will entertain as well as reward.
• Warframe Temple: If you enjoy a flashy and elegant Warframe, then look forward to the 60th Warframe, Temple. It combines a mysterious aura with a sleek design, making it an intriguing addition to your collection.
• New Protoframes: Four Protoframes will soon appear in Höllvania, introducing players to an exciting array of new Gemini skins and emotes.
• Romance & Relationship System Improvements: Relationships are key. Warframe continues to evolve the Romance and Relationship System, creating a deeper connection between players and their companions.
• Collaborative Music Track: Listen to the new song created in partnership with Jake Bowen and Mark Holcomb from Periphery, alongside Good Tiger vocalist Elliot Coleman, to enhance your gaming experience.
• New Hairstyles and Scaldra-themed Gear: Refresh your character’s look and style with new hairstyles, as well as Scaldra-themed gear for the Drifter, allowing you to adopt a more retro aesthetic.
• New Scaldra Weapons: Get your hands on a new pistol, sickle, rifle, and grenade launcher from the Scaldra, giving you a versatile arsenal to explore amid the ancient settings.
• Gyre Deluxe Skin: Introduce electrocution into your combat techniques with the stylish Gyre Deluxe cosmetic skin.

Introduction of Lavos Prime

Heralding in the Year of the Snake, the new Prime Warframe, Lavos, emerges on February 12th, accompanied by two new Prime weapons. Lavos, a transmuter that once served as a teacher to a rogue Orokin alchemist on Venus, becomes an ally in battle. Players can anticipate transmutation probes, whips, and powerful gel attacks in Lavos Prime’s arsenal.

TennoCon 2025

Mark your calendars for TennoCon 20n, set for July 18-19. The event, marked by its third year, promises interactive sessions, art exhibits, autograph signings, and the anticipated泰州Concert. In addition, TennoCon 2025 will announce exciting developments hubbed around Soulframe.
