At 4 pm, the last and decisive court round started in the federal criminal case against Diddy.
He is already convicted. Now the penalty must be determined.
According to CNN, Judge Arun Subramanian says in court that the indicative penalty is 70 to 87 months – that is, from just under six years to just over seven years in prison – and that he sees no reason to deviate from this framework.
Furthermore, the judge states that the guidelines allow for a fine of between NOK 250,000 and 2.5 million.

Both of these charges qualify for a maximum of ten years in prison each.
Recently, it became clear that the prosecuting authority asked for 11 years in prison for Diddy.
The defenders asked the judge carefully with 14 months, which will mean a rapid release, since Diddy has been in prison since September 16, 2024.
The rapper was initially indicted for legally even more serious charges, about organized crime and human trafficking for sexual purposes. He was acquitted of these.
Diddy has previously tried to get out for bail while waiting for the sentencing.
