Dez Bryant Bullish on Cowboys’ Offense, Takes Jab at Giants

Former Dallas cowboys receiver Dez Bryant shares his outlook on the NFC East, highlighting the potential of the Cowboys’ offense and taking a playful shot at the New york Giants.

Eagles’ Dominance and NFC East Rivalry

Following their dominant 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans, the Philadelphia Eagles are widely tipped to continue their reign in the NFC, especially within their division. The Eagles have retained their key offensive personnel, notably Saquon Barkley, who secured an extension to his existing contract with the team.

“Giants, they’re still at the bottom, I’m sorry. But [first-round pick Jaxson] Dart has a chance to be special.”

Bryant’s Confidence in Cowboys’ revamped Offense

Despite the Eagles’ strong position, Bryant remains loyal to his former team, the Dallas Cowboys, who are now under the guidance of head coach Brian Schottenheimer. Bryant believes the Cowboys’ acquisition of George Pickens from the Pittsburgh Steelers could unlock a new level of offensive firepower.

“It opens up a lot,” Bryant stated.”I don’t know how you don’t be successful with george Pickens and ceedee Lamb on the field simultaneously occurring… if we score points, we’re good.”

Bryant plans to attend the Cowboys’ training camp in Texas to observe Schottenheimer’s approach firsthand before the season commences.He is optimistic about the coach’s ability to establish a winning culture within the team.

“I love everything he’s been doing as of late,” Bryant added.”You gotta give him his credit. He’s got the energy flowing in the building… So, I’m looking forward to seeing what’s going on.”

Commanders’ Rise and Giants’ Challenges

Bryant also acknowledged the Washington Commanders, who surprised many in 2025 after rookie Jayden Daniels led them to their first NFC Championship Game appearance in decades. Despite losing to the Eagles, Bryant sees a promising future for Washington with Daniels at quarterback.

Though, Bryant couldn’t resist taking a jab at the New York Giants, stating, “Giants, they’re still at the bottom, I’m sorry… But [first-round pick Jaxson] Dart has a chance to be special.”

NFC East Outlook

With the NFC east set to face the NFC North and AFC West divisions during the regular season, the Giants, potentially led by Russell Wilson at quarterback, may struggle to contend for a playoff spot. However, Bryant believes the Cowboys, Commanders and Eagles are all capable of making a deep playoff run. He hopes to see the Cowboys return to the super Bowl for the first time in over three decades.
