The questioning is aimed at clarifying the relationship between the former president and Smart Creations CEO, whether financial or otherwise. PS Prashanth explained to the investigation team that despite the 40-year guarantee given by Smart Creations, when the gold layer faded, it was decided to re-coat the gold. Prashanth has also clarified that there is no other relationship with Smart Creations CEO Pankaj Bhandari.

However, the SIT has decided to seek information from Prashanth regarding the handover of the renovated Kodimaram vehicle to Tantri in 2017. P.S. said that although he was not the president at the time of handing over the vehicle, Tantri had the right to possess the vehicle later when the matter was discussed. Prashant took a stand.
