“ChatGPT for dentistry” team leads massive seed fund
TrustAI has recently closed a $6 million seed round, which the company says is the largest early-stage investment to date in dental AI. According to TrustAI, more than 3,000 dentists are already piloting the system, which the company describes as a baseline operating system for modern practices.1
TrustAI’s large language model (LLM) aims to give clinicians access to “specialist grade insights” in real time, complete with diagnostic support, personalized treatment planning, radiograph analysis, insurance verification, and administrative automation.
The company’s CEO and cofounder Dr. Bernard Casse framed the technology as a paradigm shift, saying, “We’re not building software for dentistry; we’re rebuilding dentistry itself … Practices using Trust AI are already operating in 2030 while their competitors are stuck in 1995.”1
