“Future technologies will be tangible on the demopark,” emphasizes Demopark Messary Director and Managing Director of the industry association VDMA Landtechnik Dr. Tobias Ehrhard. around 400 exhibitors, including 74 international exhibitors from 16 countries, demonstrate on 25 hectares in over 80 product segments, with which innovations and technologies can be optimized and climate. Process level: Along with automation and digital networking, the focus is on the climate -conscious lawn care at this year’s demopark.
A highlight of the exhibition is the awarding of innovation medals. According to Ehrhard, submissions of innovative vehicles, machines, devices, and software systems were of high quality this year. A total of 14 new products were awarded for the Demopark 2025 and receive the coveted innovation medals in gold and silver. The award will take place on June 22nd at 5 p.m. in the forum of the new Demopark Campus.
The campus, created from the former exhibition hall, features a lecture forum. Designed as an open-air tent, it will serve as a meeting point, offering a framework for lectures, demonstrations, and other program content. Pagoda tents with exhibitors and a networking and gastronomy area are placed around the tent. Here, visitors and exhibitors can gain practical experience at the same time, network and recharge their batteries. The Demopark Campus is centrally located on the exhibition area near the special show lawn on Gang F.

Technical Progress Driving Market Trends
Technical progress remains the impulse provider of the trend reversal at the machine market. Its dynamics are currently mainly fueled by battery technology and automation and digitization solutions. The industry focuses on “reliable results with economic and ecological benefits, which can also be increasingly being achieved by less specialized users,” says Ehrhard. In times of the shortage of skilled workers, intuitive operating concepts are more crucial than ever.
The spectrum of captivating machines, devices and process solutions as well as their application are wide -tension at this year’s demopark. The many different devices and system solutions show that digital logic is increasingly moving in within the industry. They combine satellite technology and sensors with algorithms to enable better work results. A good example of this is the latest developments in remote -controlled mowers and in the robotic. In the latter, satellite technology makes the wholly autonomous machine use possible, so that areas can literally be “programmed”.
This optimizes the area output, the quality of the cutting image and the ecological balance. By mapped maker routes and fleet management web-based, documentation and billing tasks can be implemented much more comfortably.

Special Show Lawn and Greenkeeper Meeting Point
With the special show lawn, the demopark again presents exciting topics for the care and quality assurance of lawns. The latest findings from research and practical solutions are presented as demonstrations on the lawn demo space and as a poster presentation in the lawn pet tent. This year focuses on sowing mixtures and ready -made lawn for usage lawn, irrigation and underground irrigation for lawns, digital lawn monitoring, the consequences of extensive mowing and faunaschoning mowing.
In the run -up to the fair, sub -areas of the lawn were redesigned. The tests from previous years were milled, soil material was applied and new demo areas were created. The focus of the special show lawn again in 2025 the varieties of the most importent grass species approved and tested by the federal site for the frenzy and tested varieties. Among other things, visitors can expect a diverse spectrum of pasture grasses, meadow drips and various types of swing.
A novelty is an experiment with different fertilizers from different mixtures of the RSM type 2 “usage grass”. Here interested parties can get an image of the lawn aspects between the mixtures and also depending on the nitrogen supply. As 2020, the use of local plants in the wild has been binding for everyone involved in accordance with the Federal Nature Conservation Act. The areas, some of whom were already rotten in the special show in 2013, show their genetic performance and the sometimes amazing characteristics of the succession.
Under the patronage of the German lawn company (DRG), current research focuses on the lawn at German universities are presented. In addition, the trade visitors can find out more on topics such as sustainable lawn care, climate -adapted lawn mixes, digital lawn monitoring and quality management in football lawn. The poster authors and other members of the DRG are on site for the technical exchange on all days. During the entire exhibition, the stand of the Greenkeeper association Germany (GVD) is the meeting point for greenkeepers of sports facilities and golf courses, but also for visitors from the local area.
On June 23, Demopark 2025 will again dedicate an entire day of the exhibition to landscapes. With the growing importance of nature and environmental protection and with the trend that more and more people are moving to the cities, the challenges in landscaping are steadily increasing. Exciting lectures on the main focus “Future perspective landscaping” are waiting for the trade fair visitors. Top-class speakers from science and practice speak about the latest research and solution approaches on topics such as urban climate optimization, sustainable green space care and digital green space management.
On June 24th there will be Local Day at the Demopark. On the campus and as part of the special show lawn, specialist lectures that are tailored to the needs of municipal companies and focus on the local technology of tomorrow. The program was developed in cooperation with the German Garden Office Head of Management (Galk EV). Along with strategies for smart irrigation management, it will be about digitization, electrification and a shortage of skilled workers. pH
