“In El Bolsón I think I am the only one with this problem,” Julieta told Radio six. “It is a degenerative disease, so I have to be doing activities all the time: I go to the gym, to the pool, but still progressing.Ten years ago I live alone, but I am needing a lot of help for daily life: cooking, sweeping. They are large deterioration, tied my hair or things like that cost me a lot and I started losing strength on my shoulders.”
Because her family lives nearby,they assist her with daily tasks. Leaving the house can be challenging, and she requires assistance even for basic needs like using the bathroom and walking, for which she uses splints.
