Dayle Haddon, a prominent model and actress active during the 1970s, 80s, and early 90s, lost her life on Friday in Solebury Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, due to a suspected carbon monoxide leak. According to Solebury Township Police Department, the 76-year-old actress was found unresponsive at her home.

Authorities responded to the scene around 9 a.m. on Friday. A man was also found unconscious inside the house and was sent to a local hospital for medical treatment. Detective Sgt. Jonathan Koretzky informed CBS News that a heating unit failure released a significant amount of carbon monoxide into the carriage house.

Notably, two medics and one police officer also suffered from carbon monoxide exposure and were treated at the hospital. All three were later stabilized.

Born on May 26, 1948, in Toronto, Canada, Haddon rose to fame as a supermodel and later ventured into acting. She captured attention with her roles in Hollywood starting with 1973’s The World’s Greatest Athlete, starring alongside Matt LeBlanc, who gained fame much later through Friends.

Soon after, Haddon ventured into television and films, garnering more than two dozen credits. Her roles include The Cheaters (1975), Madame Claude (1977), and North Dallas Forty (1979) featuring Tom Cruise, Desert Chase (1986), and Cyborg (1989). In the early 1990s, she appeared in Unbecoming Age and the critically acclaimed musical comedy Bullets Over Broadway (1994), alongside Chazz Palminteri and Michael J. Fox.
