Danny Brown has announced his return with a new album, Stardustout November 7th via Warp Records. He has also confirmed a 21-stop fall US tour and released lead single “Starburst” along with an accompanying video.
Billed in a press release as Brown’s first album written in sobriety, Stardust is described as “messy, emotional, and held together with a strange kind of clarity.” It also expands on his eclectic sound, featuring collaborations with experimental pop and underground electronic musicians, including underscores, Jane Remover, Frost Children, Quadeca, and Femtanyl. Pre-order the album on CD and vinyl ahead of its physical release on February 20th, 2026.
Brown’s 2025 tour will feature underscores and Femtanyl as support, kicking off in Boston ahead of dates in Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, Austin, New York City, and more. Arriving with a video directed by DEADHORSES, “Starburst” is built around swirling, electronic production from Brown’s previous collaborator, Holly. On the track, the rapper shows off his signature wit with lyrics like, “Big, big guy, dropping them small fries/ Like a lunch rush came in and everybody called in/ These n****s want the smoke like twenty twin twin/ Used to get hit with bricks like Deebo at the end.”
Brown’s most recent album, Fortywas released in November 2023. Earlier that year, he teamed up with JPEGMAFIA for a joint project titled SCARING THE HOES.
