A tender thought. On tour throughout France, with a piece entitled bed of confusionalongside Douchka Esposito and Jean-Philippe Azéma, Danièle Gilbert was the guest of Telematin this Wednesday, February 25. On the set of the France 2 morning show, the 82-year-old former TV host promoted François Janvier’s comedy, opposite Maya Lauqué and Damien Thévenot. She also returned to her career as an actress, notably after reviewing images of Presse pipoleone of her old plays in which she played with Olivier Lejeune. After viewing this “very good memory”the widow of Patrick Scemama made a “wink” to his former playing partner.
As a reminder, the 74-year-old actor suffers from laryngeal cancer, for which he underwent a double operation: a laryngectomy and a tracheotomy, last December. About the fight against her friend’s illness, Danièle Gilbert confided: “It’s still not funny what’s happening to him”before specifying that he no longer had vocal cords and therefore could no longer speak. Wanting to be reassuring, the actress declared: “But he has a way of recovering (…)”before adding: “On the other hand, he can write and that’s good because he’s very good at it”. The former presenter of Everyone enjoys then addressed “big kisses” to Olivier Lejeune.

Almost two months after his double operation, Olivier Lejeune made his first public appearance. On February 2, the actor attended the presentation of the Legion of Honor to Chantal Ladesou by the Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati. A presence which reassured his fans, worried since the announcement of his cancer. The father also wanted to reassure them last December by posting a message on his Facebook account, while asking them to respect his convalescence. “Being very stunned despite everything, I would ask you please not to write to me again to ask me how I feel. It’s adorable, but being well brought up, I feel obliged to respond and therefore, exhaustion. (…) If I count all your messages, thousands of you have come forward and you cannot imagine the strength you have given me. Very grateful. Moving. The whirlwind of a life!”we could read.
