“Funny Little Fears”: An Emotional Diary set to Music

Damiano describes Voices as the final piece of the puzzle before the full story of Funny Little Fears unfolds. He characterizes the album as an emotional diary from the past year, a period of self-discovery and confronting personal demons.

Voices deals with my inner struggle – from everything that pulled me away from myself and to really understand what I wanted … and what is more crucial that I didn’t want. This song is the last piece before the whole story unfolds on the album. ‘Funny Little Fears’ is basically my emotional diary from last year. Writing it helped me to overcome some deep emotional blockages and fears, and it allowed me to show a more personal, perhaps unexpected side of me – both musically and as a person. Publishing ‘voices’ in front of the album feels like I opened the last door and invite everyone to my inner world without fear.
