The newly recruited lawyer brings with her a wealth of experience accumulated over 23 years in public service. Her career includes tenures at several key judicial institutions, including the Seoul Central District Court and the Eastern District Court. She is a graduate of Gyeongbuk High School and seoul National University College of Law, holding the distinction of passing both the administrative (1981) and judicial (1983) examinations.
Her judicial career began in 1988 at the Uijeongbu District Court, followed by postings at the Seoul Southern District Court, Changwon district Court, and the Seoul high Court. She has also served as a deputy judge in the suwon District Court,Seoul Central District Court,and seoul Eastern District Court,specializing in psychological events and heading the Dedicated Division. Moreover, she contributed to in-depth legal review as a Supreme Court Tribunal Researcher and with the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board.
From Public Servant to Legal Advocate
Transitioning to private practice in 2011, the lawyer has already demonstrated her prowess in high-stakes legal battles. Notably, she secured probation for a defendant facing charges related to methamphetamine use. She also successfully represented a client against the Ministry of Health and Welfare regarding drug price reductions, resulting in recognition from the Minister of Health and Welfare.
