Today the Liceo Theater in Salamanca hosted the gala presentation of the 3rd edition of the CyLTV Diagnosis Awards, the awards for health and healthcare professionals in Castilla y León. The ceremony, presented by the director and presenter of the network program ‘Diagnosis’, Sara Ayuso, will be broadcast on Sunday, February 8 at 11 p.m. on La 7.

During his speech, the general director of RTVCyL, Jorge Losada, stressed that “each person and each recognized project represents the excellence, innovation and humanity that define the healthcare of Castilla y León” and that “the Diagnosis Awards put a name and face to the silent effort of professionals and institutions that work every day to improve the quality of life of citizens.”

In this sense, Losada indicated that “making Castilla y León today a benchmark in the biohealth and pharmaceutical field” is “thanks to the combination of high-level biomedical research, a public health system closely integrated with the university, a powerful primary, hospital and emergency care network and a growing pharmaceutical and biotechnological industrial fabric.” He also referred to patient associations “that provide so much support and that are so essential in some of the most difficult moments of our lives.”
