A new, colorful asphalt painting is intended to make the coexistence of pedestrians and cyclists on Vienna’s Mariahilfer Straße more peaceful. In the Zollergasse to Kirchengasse section, blue dots and the words “Drive Slowly” have been painted next to the boundary walls to the subway construction site. They mark the area in which cycling is to take place. The remaining area towards the house facade should belong to pedestrians. As soon as the temperatures rise, it will be marked with yellow pictograms.
