This edition of ICQC brings quite a few elementary changes in the contest, the most important one is the change on the “CUBOID” test patch design, with a focus on modern elegance, combining a clean geometric layout, contemporary colour accents, and clear/ easy measurement fields to reflect today’s high standards in print quality evaluation.
What’s new with the upcoming “CUBOID”?
It’s super simple and sharp now, with that modern edge that just looks good. Picture straight lines, tidy geometry, and colors that pop nicely without going overboard. The new Cuboid has it all and the best part is, it’s added with a wide-open square patch in just the right spots give room to measure easily, even if the spectrophotometer device’s shutter opening is 3mm or bigger.
Now its narrowed down to three rows from four before, kept the overall size about the same, but made the squares bigger for better access. The row 2 runs continuous now, so that one don’t have to keep shifting the device around empty spots that’s simply way smoother and lot efficient during measurements, in simple term the measurement efficient improved and efforts optimised as well.
Why these changes matter?
A sharp, modern look just feels right for printing these days. More space and smarter layouts speed up measurements, so printers can tweak and optimize presses quicker without the hassle. It makes fine-tuning a lot easier, helping printers hit those top standards quicker.
- Reduced rows with larger square patches for easier measurement access
- Continuous middle row to enable faster, uninterrupted measurements and improved efficiency
- Clear and bigger measurement fields suitable for spectrophotometer apertures of 3 mm and above
