Forging Educational Bridges: The Ibero-American Network’s Triangular Exchange
A significant initiative aimed at fostering educational innovation across Ibero-America has recently concluded. The Ibero-American Network of Educational Innovation, with support from AECID, completed its first triangular immersive visit, facilitating a dynamic exchange between educational institutions in Colombia, Cuba, and Mexico. This collaborative effort sought to deepen understanding of diverse educational models and promote the adaptation of best practices to suit local contexts.
Culmination in Cuba: A Focus on Sustainable and Digital Education
The final phase of this exchange took place at the Carlos Manuel Céspedes educational Institution in Cuba. this visit built upon previous exchanges, including a visit by teachers from the Helen Keller school in Mexico and the Montessori San Francisco Educational Institution in Colombia to Havana Cienfuegos, Cuba, between March 25th and 28th. The Cuban event served as a platform for educators, administrators, and representatives from the Cuban Ministry and National Office, alongside other local educational stakeholders, to strengthen inter-American relationships.
Exploring Innovative Methodologies and the SDGs
Thru a series of engaging debates, workshops, and cultural excursions, participants explored innovative methodologies and educational projects aligned with the sustainable Progress Goals (SDGs). The discussions centered on three key pillars:
