Crunchyroll Manga will become a separate application that will be available on iOS and Android in the USA and Canada from October 9, and the web version will appear on October 15. The service was created in collaboration with the Japanese developer Link-U Group and will offer users an extensive manga catalog from AlphaPolis, Compass, Square Enix, Viz Media and Yen Press.
Among the main episodes that will be presented at the start: One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, Daemons of the Shadow Realm, My Dress-up Darling, The Summer Hikaru Died, Lycoris Recoil, Delicious in Dungeon, Sasaki and Miyano, Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy, Maiden of the Dragon: Falling for the Demon’s Lies.
To take advantage of the manga library, an active Crunchyroll subscription will be required. The additional cost will depend on the tariff: with the fan subscription – $ 11.99 USD / $ 15.49 CAD per month; With the Mega FAN subscription – $ 15.49 USD / $ 17.49 CAD per month.
Ultimate Fan level users will gain access to Crunchyroll Manga without an additional fee.
According to Asssa Suehira, the Constitution of Crunchyroll, the launch of the library is a step towards creating a comprehensive experience for fans of Japanese culture:
