Perhaps no Thibaut Courtois at the Red Devils. The Real Madrid goalkeeper underwent additional medical tests today after persistent discomfort in his right leg. As it turns out, an injury to his adductor was diagnosed. The national team has not yet communicated itself, but there is little chance that our national number one will be present at Tubize tomorrow.

National coach Rudi Garcia cannot rely on a fit Thibaut Courtois

After his clean sheet against Rayo Vallecano, it turned out that the goalkeeper again had problems with his right leg. Coach Xabi Alonso confirmed that Courtois has been experiencing problems “for some time”.

This morning, Courtois underwent additional medical tests. “Following the tests carried out today by the Real Madrid medical service on our player Thibaut Courtois, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the long adductor of his right leg,” said the verdict at the Royal.

The Red Devils have not yet communicated, but the goalkeeper may not travel to Tubize on Tuesday for the diptych against Kazakhstan and Liechtenstein. The Red Devils are currently not sure of a ticket for the World Cup.

Matz Sels, Maarten Vandevoordt and Senne Lammens are the three other goalkeepers in the selection.
