Córdoba Transport: Emergency Plan Ends – New Changes

From this Wednesday April 1st changes are applied to the urban transport of Córdoba with the addition of a new company and the redistribution of corridors. It is within the framework of the reorganization process after the FAM exitwhose contract was revoked amid allegations of sabotage on March 8.

The main novelty of the scheme is the landing of SolBuswhich is added to the system and will operate the corridor 7while SiBuswhich had already been providing service, will assume the corridor 5.

Regarding the units, SolBus will have 62 new cars and 20 incorporated between 2023 and 2025, while SiBus will have 22 zero kilometer buses and another 33 with less than four years of service, the Municipality detailed in an official statement.

SiBus will cover el corredor 5 del transporte urbano.

In this way, the authorities highlighted that the entire fleet of the system will be less than five years oldwith the aim of improving the quality of service.

For its part, Coniferal will continue to be in charge of corridors 1, 4 and 6while Tamsau will maintain trolleybus lines and corridor 2 and the ring lines will continue to operate temporarily.

The ticket is charged again

Furthermore, from this Wednesday tickets will be charged again in corridors 2, 5 and 7, as well as on lines 600 and 601.

Another notable point is that the FAM workers were absorbed by the new borrowers, mainly SiBus and SolBus.

How the system is distributed:

  • SiBus: corridors 3, 5 and 8
  • SolBus: corridor 7
  • Coniferal: corridors 1, 4 and 6. In addition to lines C1 and C2
  • In the dark: corridor 2, trolleybuses (A, B and C) and ring lines (600 and 601)
