Coop Norge is recalling ready-made tzatziki in 200 gram cups after traces of egg were found in the product.
– The product is not marked that it may contain traces of eggs and may therefore pose a health risk for people who are allergic to eggs, writes the grocery player in a press release on Friday evening.
The product has been removed from the shelves in all stores, but people who bought the tzatziki are asked to throw it away or return it to the store and get their money back.
– We emphasize that there is no quality defect with the product, but it can pose a risk for people with an egg allergy, says communications director Harald Kristiansen at Coop Norge.
